The fatigue from the recent move is still in my body. It’s striking how quickly you fall back into old patterns under stress, but what a relief it was to notice that learning new habits truly helps!
Our body and mind love patterns.
Patterns are efficient because they require less energy from our brains. Often, we don’t even realize how much we do on autopilot. This applies to me as well.
How aware are you of your daily actions? Even your productivity and creativity often happen automatically. Under stress, the vicious cycle you’re caught in is so strong that it’s hard to break unless you learn new habits. I’ve seen this not only in myself but also in my surroundings and with my coaching clients.
Learning new patterns takes time.
It doesn’t happen overnight. But if you approach it correctly, it can go faster than you think. How open are you to this? I’m amazed at how many people prefer to stay in their current situation, even if it’s uncomfortable and causes negative energy, pain, or sadness. In this too, the body and mind are efficient, no matter how unpleasant that can sometimes be. They prefer to hold onto existing patterns. How does that apply to you?
Holding a mirror to yourself
Changing your life and patterns requires courage. You have to be willing to hold a mirror up to yourself and temporarily give up the familiar. Break through the voice of your inner saboteur.
You always have the choice of how you start your day, or even the next hour. Do you begin to lead the life you dream of, or do you stay stuck in a mediocre B- or C-version of it?
You can learn new patterns by:
-
Managing your own mindset,
-
Directing your thoughts,
-
Listening to your heart,
-
Allowing yourself to be led by your soul’s desires,
-
Learning to live in the moment.
Then, stress really becomes a thing of the past.
What happens then? For some, a whole new world opens up. They have unconsciously hidden behind society’s expectations or their environment and can finally choose for themselves. Is that selfish? No, everyone benefits when you are the best version of yourself, right? For others, it’s more subtle and leads to a more pleasant flow in life.
Do you dare to tackle existing, non-functional patterns?
Join the five-week training “Master Your Mind.” Learn how to create new patterns and live in the moment. Discover the power of your thoughts and expand your awareness. Create more balance in your life and reduce stress. The trinity of body, mind, and soul is key here.
When you’re guided by your heart, both your heart and mind are in balance. If you let your mind lead, both are in conflict. What we feel and think, how we experience the world and others, and what we do, always starts with our thoughts. That’s why managing our thoughts is crucial in our lives.
